Alpine Shelter Skut, Slovenia
On a rocky ledge under Mount Skuta is a shelter that can accommodate up to eight climbers.
Skuta Alpine Shelter was developed by students at Harvard University under the guidance of masters of Oman and Videchnik from the OFIS Slovenian studio. Oman and Videknik asked small groups of students to design and create small huts that can withstand the harsh alpine climate.
OFIS, whose previous projects included ski lodges and holiday homes, collaborated with the architects of AKT II Corporation to better adapt the design to the highlands.
